I have lived in Bamford for nearly 10 years and one of the reasons I enjoy living here is because of the warm and friendly community. I am invested in doing more to support actions that enable and develop our community alongside working towards improving facilities, and resources for all.

I believe that we can bring more to Bamford and Thornhill community. We live in a beautiful environment, but we are restricted by limitations that are not facilitating us to make the most of our community and deliver more efficient and effective services to all who live here. I would like to see transport links to Bamford improved, and to see an improvement in community cohesion across the generations. My experience of Bamford is there is plenty going on if you scratch the surface but much of it is happening in silos and it would be great if we could create a community that is more cohesive and
accessible for all, especially newcomers and the vulnerable, and to really celebrate where we live and what we have to offer.

I have worked in Further Education in Sheffield for over 15 years where I teach Art & Design.
