Councillor
Michele Moran
I am a committed and energetic resident of Bamford, having found our ‘forever home’ here three years ago. Every day I feel privileged to live in such a remarkable area and community.
I began working for the NHS over four decades ago, starting out as a cadet nurse. I subsequently qualified as a Nurse, Midwife and Health Visitor and I am currently the Chief Executive of an NHS Trust.
In my spare time I teach Yoga and play golf at Sickleholme Golf Club. I am also a member of Bamford Tennis Club. Before moving to the area I was a trustee of the RSPCA in Leeds and a Magistrate in Bradford.
My interests are animal welfare, preserving communities and the environment.
I feel honoured to be a Parish Councillor and am keen to support and help our community as much as I can.
