Ian Wingfield

Ian is a retired chartered engineer and has been a Bamford resident for 45 years. He worked mainly for local government, on design and construction of roads, bridges, and drainage, and on waste disposal and land reclamation, becoming Chief Environment Officer at South Yorkshire County Council.
Ian has previously been a High Peak borough councillor and been involved in voluntary roles with Bamford School, Hope Valley College, St John’s church and the Moore Memorial Hall.
