PARISH COUNCIL MEETINGS

Because of the current Government restrictions on social distancing, our Parish Council meetings are suspended in their normal form.

However, the Government has made temporary Regulations, coming into force on 4 April 2020, to allow Parish Councils to meet via phone-conferencing or video-conferencing (which were previously illegal for councils). Bamford with Thornhill Parish Council has used this new flexibility for its meetings since May 2020. The format for future meetings is being kept under review as circumstances continue to evolve.
